Orchestra Uniform Information
Every 7th and 8th grade orchestra student is expected to have a uniform to wear for performances inside and outside our school. There are 3 options: dress, jumpsuit, and tuxedo. Please read the ordering and sizing information below.
The concert attire for 6th grade orchestra is in a formal manner. Formal attire includes dresses and skirts (school length), collared shirts, polos and blouses, and black, khaki, or navy pants, with dress shoes. Formal attire does not include: blue jeans, tee-shirts (especially with graphic prints), pants with large holes, shorts, athletic wear, or tennis shoes. Please do not wait until the day before the concert to consider what your attire will be.

The dress sizing does not run the same as department store dresses. They generally run small so when in doubt, always go up a size. A uniform that is slightly big can be worn; however, one that is too small cannot. Formal Fashion’s Size chart is below. The music department has dresses available for students to try on if they would like to verify that the size fits before ordering.
You must order your own dress. The school is prohibited from ordering the dresses because the company does not charge sales tax. State law requires that schools be charged sales tax on items that are being resold to students. In the past, we have used our Booster program to order our uniforms, but this is no longer an option.

It should have a Small Scoop neck and Bell Sleeves.
Click on the first color swatch, which is black.

Dress #3752
Price of the Dress is $69.00, and shipping is $15.00. (Sizes 18+ are an additional $10) Total will be $84.00.
The style is not an express style dress, so it will take longer. Allow for at least 3-4 weeks and you must order before October 3, 2025. You will need to alter the length of the dress without cutting the excess off. Please do so before the first concert. Just an idea: If you know other ladies in the orchestra/ honor choir/ or band you can order your uniforms together to save on shipping costs.
Please return the form sent home with one of the following selected by OCTOBER 3rd.

*The Junior’s dresses are drastically shorter than the Misses option. These are only an option for students under 5 feet tall.
Order Information for Orchestra Jumpsuit

The jumpsuit is a new option for 2024-25, and is offered by a different company than our tuxedo and dress options. Please read sizing information carefully. When in doubt, always go up a size. A uniform that is slightly big can be worn; however, one that is too small cannot. Southeastern’s size chart is on the next page.

Price of the Jumpsuit is $77.00 (tall sizes are $10 more), and shipping is $12.00. Total will be $89.00.
Allow for at least 3-4 weeks for production and shipping. You must order before October 3, 2025. You will need to alter the length of the jumpsuit without cutting the excess off. Please do so before the first concert. Just an idea: If you know other ladies in the orchestra/ honor choir/ band you can order your uniforms together to save on shipping costs.
